Brenda Lancaster is an author, speaker, Bible teacher, and founder of ZMI International, a women’s ministry and missionary organization dedicated to bringing Hope, Help, and Harmony to women’s Hearts and Homes through Jesus Christ and His Titus 2 message to women. After working with children for 29 years, the Lord called her to full time Women’s Ministry. At that time she began writing and teaching Bible studies and speaking to women groups. Her passion is introducing women to Christ and pointing them to the truths of His Word.  Brenda finds no greater joy than watching God’s work of redemption change lives.

Brenda is the author of Living in a Zoo?, (Master Design Publishers, January 2011, 2nd edition; first edition 2007); Daily Dose of Encouragement (Master Design Publishers, Vol. 1, 2010 and Vol. 2, 2011), and Taking Back the Family (Spanish & Portuguese), 2012. She is also writer of various articles & publisher and writer for the online version of Daily Dose of Encouragement. The devotional appears daily on the ministry website, FaceBook and is delivered to subscribers via email each morning.  She is also author of the Bible study A Portrait of Ruth (1999), and A Family History Book (1994).

Since 1999 Brenda has been a speaker at various women’s events, conferences, and retreats around the USA. In 2008, the Lord called her as missionary to women in South and Central America where she and her team travel extensively each year. Leaders in each country are trained to evangelize and disciple women using the Portuguese and Spanish versions of the Bible studies. Established in Brazil, Nicaragua, Honduras, El Salvador, and the Dominican Republic, ZMI International is on schedule to begin in Columbia and Cuba in 2013.

Brenda has served alongside her husband of 45 years in various positions of leadership in their local church, Life Community Church, in Greensboro, N.C.  Tom and Brenda have three grown sons, all married; now giving her three daughters as well!  Blessed with six grandchildren – four boys and two girls – Nana and PapaTom still sometimes feel as if they are living in a zoo! Attending football, baseball, basketball games, and swim meets keeps them busy traveling all across the state.

Brenda says, “The Lord has definitely taken me in a direction I never dreamed of going, but I praise Him for the opportunity to serve. I give Him all praise, honor, and glory for all He has accomplished through this ministry and in my life.”
