We Are Blessed

“Then when they were alone, he turned to the disciples and said, “Blessed are the eyes that see what you have seen. I tell you, many prophets and kings longed to see what you see, but they didn’t see it. And they longed to hear what you hear, but they didn’t hear it.”
Luke 10:23-24 (NLT)

Here we are reminded of how incredibly blessed we are to know Jesus and the truth of the Gospel. The kings and prophets of the Old Testament looked forward to the coming Messiah and longed for His deliverance, but they were never able to see, hear, or experience God in the same way we can today. We have been forgiven and reconciled to God so that we may approach God’s throne with confidence and receive grace and mercy (Heb.4:16). Today, praise God for the privilege we have to know Him, to hear from Him, and to see His hands at work around us. Ask for the chance to share this great news with others, and pray that many more lives will be eternally changed through His saving grace.

Prayerfully,

Madison
